Hello!
Sam is a DC-based actor originally from Sharon, MA. In 2019, he graduated from American University with a BA in Musical Theatre and Spanish Studies along with a Certificate of Spanish Translation. In addition to his studies, Sam was a key member of the American University Swim and Dive team where he swam four years at the Division-I level.
Apart from acting, Sam is working in DC as a personal trainer at VIDA Fitness- U St. He is also an avid Eurovision fan and meticulously follows the contest every year, with hopes of attending in person one day!

Human Museum at Rorschach Theatre:
Sam understudied the characters of 65 and Delivery Bot for Rorschach Theatre’s World Premiere of Human Museum. A group of robots who are commemorating 100 years of human extinction thru a museum exhibit tackle concepts of legacy and who will carry it forward.

One Mo’ Time at Anacostia Playhouse
Sam portrayed the Theatre Owner in the Anacostia Playhouse production of One Mo’ Time. The show is a musical revue about the 1920’s African American vaudeville singers set in the Lyric Theatre of New Orleans. Sam was also the dance captain for this production.
Exclusion at Arena Stage:
Sam was part of the world premiere of Exclusion at Arena Stage, written by Kenneth Lin and directed by Trip Cullman. Sam played a cowboy in a graphic scene on the set of a series that dealt with the mistreatment of Chinese immigrants as a result of the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882.
Sam played the roles of Criado, Twirling Twin, Princess Shooting Star, and Prince Charming in GALA Hispanic Theatre’s production of Príncipe y Príncipe. This production was part of the GALita program, which produces shows especially for younger audiences. This was the bilingual adaptation premiere, adapted by Eric Swartz/El Chelito.

Sam understudied for the World Premiere of Postcards from Ihatov at 1st Stage This ensemble based visual theatre piece was adapted from the works of Kenji Miyazawa, a Japanese poet, novelist, and author of children’s literature.
Sam performed in Rorschach’s annual 10-minute play series entitled Klecksography 2024, where 30 artists viewed a painting at the Luther W. Brady Art Gallery at GW as inspiration for the 10 minute plays. The play Sam was in, Nothing But a Lack of Light, revolved around what you might wear to the end of the world…
